    This partnerwork class will cover intermediate-level New York Salsa figures including multiple turns, wraps, simultaneous turns, scoops, "around the world", and more complex connections and concepts. We will deconstruct and master these techniques using solo and partnerwork drills. Most importantly, we'll learn how to safely communicate with one another using these figures in our real-world improvisation.  This class requires advanced beginner or higher-level experience in New York Salsa partnerwork. This is an advanced-beginner class, and knowledge of basic salsa figures is strongly recommended. If you have taken our intro/beginner classes and want to improve your dancing, this class is appropriate for you. We will focus on foundational concepts and techniques for effectively leading and following in salsa partnerwork. Unlike our other partnerwork classes, where we work on specific patterns, this class will provide an in-depth examination of timing, momentum, direction, and connection – concepts that are required for all partnerwork figures.
