This partnerwork class will cover intermediate-level New York Salsa figures including multiple turns, wraps, simultaneous turns, scoops, “around the world”, and more complex connections and concepts. We will deconstruct and master these techniques using solo and partnerwork drills. Most importantly, we’ll learn how to safely communicate with one another using these figures in our real-world improvisation.Â
This class requires advanced beginner or higher-level experience in New York Salsa partnerwork. If you are a regular student at BAILA Society, this class is the next level up from Ahtoy’s side on Saturdays at Peridance.Â
